Tendring District Local Plan Review

The consultation runs for just over six weeks, from Monday 7 September 2026 until 5pm on Monday 19 October 2026.

We would like to reach as many people as possible across the district to share information about this current Public Consultation for the Local Plan Review. We would like to draw attention to the variety of ways individuals can respond to us.

There are 5 events being held across the district (details on the poster) and we would encourage people to attend to find out more about the proposals.

This consultation will focus on whether the Local Plan meets the tests of legal compliance and soundness. Comments on matters outside the scope of the examination may carry limited weight in the examination process. Only representations submitted during this Regulation 19 consultation period will be considered by the independent Inspector as part of the examination of the Local Plan.
